GO MARINERS

Well, Last week was a great week...got 2 Mariners games in...I love baseball games...at the stadium at least. On Wed I watched the Mariners shut out the Pirates with my fabulous coworkers and on Sat I helped the Mariners root Griffey on from cheap seats. I pick great games to go to! Saturday I brought Gavin too...he loves Baseball. I bought him his own little glove and ball that he likes to hold in the car. So cute. He slept through a few home runs...but enjoyed the rest of the game. Here are some pics:

Spokane for Fathers Day

Jeff drove with Gavin and I to Spokane to visit my dad for Father's Day. I love road trips, even short ones. My dad and I like to play with beads. Lucky for me...so does Gavin! He was so funny putting all the strings around his neck over and over and over. We had a great visit. Gavin also LOVED the swimming pool at the hotel. Everytime we walked by he did the ASL sign for MORE and pointed to the pool. Next time we'll have to spend longer in that pool!

Putting them on....

Sitting Pretty....

Being tickled by Grandpa's Beard....

Jumping on Stacey's Back....still light enough to feel good :-)

Zoo Trip

Here we go, we were at the Zoo with Rebecca, Jeff, and Grandma. It was a nice day. Nice to be out and about...we just wandered and enjoyed eachothers company. FAIR WARNING: I bought a membership for Gavin and I so I forsee many more zoo pictures in the future months :-)
The GORILLA

Picnic Lunch...Gavin was just so good all day. So much fun to be a Mom for Gavin at the zoo.

Aunt Becca, Cousin Kaitlyn, Uncle Jeff, and Gavin-enjoying a stroll through the butterfly world.

Heather Lake Hike

Awhile ago we hiked Heather Lake. It was great-embrace the exertion! The bottom was a little chilly. We climbed high enough to get into the snow (Stacey did not like this as much in tennis shoes and cotton clothes). It started raining and was really wet at the top. The lake was beautiful-but I would like to back in the fall when the snow has melted and we can walk around the lake. One of my favorite wildflowers, trillium, was everywhere. In purple or white it has 3 petals and 3 leaves. Very pretty.

What we've been doing...

Well, here's some more...I got on a download kick and pulled all my pictures off the cameras.

This group is of my 8-10 year old Activity Day Girls (some of them) we went to Baskin Robbins for 31 cent scoop night. We meet every other week and do awesome things. Last week we practiced lighting a fire and played games and made smores. We've done sewing, fashion shows, games, letter writing...all sorts of fun things!

Gavin making a mess with his popcorn...of course it's more fun to eat after being dumped out all over everything! And after church one Sunday (I think) he crashed. It cracks me up when he sleeps like this.

Pictures Pictures

So here are some recent things...hope I get the picture matching descriptions...I'll just put all notes here:
Gavin's first chicken wing...yummy! Notice the haircut? Yup, no more girly man curls. He's got big studly man hair now.

Hm, Notice Jeff's Uncle button? He only goes out with me with the button...got tired of being called dad...the girls liked him either way really.

For people that want more pictures of my beautiful face...there's one of some friends and I before going dancing a few weeks ago. I like these people. We have fun together.

Gavin likes going down slides! Sometimes I go with him to help him stay upright-and sometimes he goes by himself. He's growing fast but still small enough to do all kinds of fun tricks on the way down-like going upside down head first down the slide. Good thing I was there to take his picture and catch him at the bottom.

And riding in a car...Growing up up up, Gavin is very tall and very opinionated-one of which he got from me I guess. We are doing well, working sleeping playing...going to Spokane this weekend and enjoying a visit from Rebecca (sister in Utah) and her daughter Katelynn for a few days for JEFF'S GRADUATION!!!! He made it to the end of high school. Way to go Jeff, LOVE YOU BROTHER MAN!!!

From Arkansas

I snuck away from the grandparents (all 4 of them) to burn a CD of pictures. Here are a few of what we are up to.
Great Grandad Gardner, Gavin, and Grandpa Bill are completely enjoying the thousandth picture of the day!
Gavin and I spend a lot of time playing. It's so nice to be on vacation and only be concerned about playing with Gavin and listening to stories from the old folks. I'm completely enjoying myself.
MaryAnne is a wonderful photographer...always catching me in motion, catching the action!
Gavin has spent a lot of time just chilin with Grandpa. He's made himself quite at home here in Arkansas. I've had a run in with a tic, poison ivy, and the humidity, but still love Arkansas.

Way Too Many Zoo Pix to Choose from....

Super Fun Zoo Trip! Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle...I forget how much fun animals and zoos can be. Not a very warm day, but had a great time...Elephants are amazing but they didn'tdo a whole lot. Why does my face do so many things?
The Group: Aunt Jessipoo, Grandma, Grandad, and Gavin...and Stacey the photographer. Look! The sun came out!
I loved the giraffe's 2nd best. They are such odd creatures! Gavin didn't care as much for them as I did...we did bring a stroller, he just was never in it.
He would rather take a ride on Grandma's shoulders. Gavin LOVES Grandma!
Another sideways one, oops. They were running around like crazy people. Gavin was just GIGGLING.
Gavin lilked that I made him play with the statues. I think it'll be fun to see how he grows compared to the height of the stautes over the years. I highly doubt the zoo will take them out, so we can just measure him every year against the little gorilla....I thought it was a genius idea! :-)
My cute little munchkin...
Adorable? I love this...yes staged of course, but it was totally funny. Wow, more pictures of him with statues then the animals. Oh well. I had too many to choose from. We had a great time, this was a few weekends ago. We went to a delicious Chinese buffet afterwards. Every time I go I say NEVER AGAIN I AM TOO FULL...but then a few months later, I forget and go get stuffed again. I love that Gavin is able to actually enjoy these places we go. It was especially fun to watch Aunt Jessipoo (real name Jessica for the record) enjoy Gavin. Good Times, Bring on the next adventure, like Arkansas in 3 days!!!

Still catching up on Pictures and stuff...TULIP Heaven

Tulip Town, in Mount Vernon, WA...thousands and thousands of Tulips...loved it. I used to be a florist, remember? Tulips are great, one of my favorites! The sun came out, brighter then I expected!
Gavin running around, fun to watch him and watch people watch him
He got tired...Later that day had a really high fever, so he was a little sick here...Pretty tulip fields!

I love the color combinations, had to include it. They are just so gorgeous!
Well, I've caught up on all the pics from the last month I think...Do I have more then my sister yet? Probably not haha. I have a few from the zoo trip maybe but we're just doing our normal stuff, working, playing, eating and sleeping. And enjoying 95 % of it every day! Much Love to all....

Tulip Festival and Other Pics...probably the last new ones for a month! :-)

Gavin's favorite, Jumping on the trampoline! Every day he wants to jump, he starts bouncing his legs before we get there... It's fun. I don't mind doing this activity with him at all!
Oops, sideways...with Grandma's hand...can you tell he's a talker? or screamer....
Loves his farm, LOVES his farm...I think I loved it too.
His favorite thing at the park, walking up the slide...safer then stairs? Debatable.
Tulip Festival...like I said earlier, Gavin had just as much fun running in the grass as looking at tulips. Uncle Jeff LOVED chasing him around with me. It was great fun...
