From Arkansas

I snuck away from the grandparents (all 4 of them) to burn a CD of pictures. Here are a few of what we are up to.
Great Grandad Gardner, Gavin, and Grandpa Bill are completely enjoying the thousandth picture of the day!
Gavin and I spend a lot of time playing. It's so nice to be on vacation and only be concerned about playing with Gavin and listening to stories from the old folks. I'm completely enjoying myself.
MaryAnne is a wonderful photographer...always catching me in motion, catching the action!
Gavin has spent a lot of time just chilin with Grandpa. He's made himself quite at home here in Arkansas. I've had a run in with a tic, poison ivy, and the humidity, but still love Arkansas.

Way Too Many Zoo Pix to Choose from....

Super Fun Zoo Trip! Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle...I forget how much fun animals and zoos can be. Not a very warm day, but had a great time...Elephants are amazing but they didn'tdo a whole lot. Why does my face do so many things?
The Group: Aunt Jessipoo, Grandma, Grandad, and Gavin...and Stacey the photographer. Look! The sun came out!
I loved the giraffe's 2nd best. They are such odd creatures! Gavin didn't care as much for them as I did...we did bring a stroller, he just was never in it.
He would rather take a ride on Grandma's shoulders. Gavin LOVES Grandma!
Another sideways one, oops. They were running around like crazy people. Gavin was just GIGGLING.
Gavin lilked that I made him play with the statues. I think it'll be fun to see how he grows compared to the height of the stautes over the years. I highly doubt the zoo will take them out, so we can just measure him every year against the little gorilla....I thought it was a genius idea! :-)
My cute little munchkin...
Adorable? I love this...yes staged of course, but it was totally funny. Wow, more pictures of him with statues then the animals. Oh well. I had too many to choose from. We had a great time, this was a few weekends ago. We went to a delicious Chinese buffet afterwards. Every time I go I say NEVER AGAIN I AM TOO FULL...but then a few months later, I forget and go get stuffed again. I love that Gavin is able to actually enjoy these places we go. It was especially fun to watch Aunt Jessipoo (real name Jessica for the record) enjoy Gavin. Good Times, Bring on the next adventure, like Arkansas in 3 days!!!

Still catching up on Pictures and stuff...TULIP Heaven

Tulip Town, in Mount Vernon, WA...thousands and thousands of Tulips...loved it. I used to be a florist, remember? Tulips are great, one of my favorites! The sun came out, brighter then I expected!
Gavin running around, fun to watch him and watch people watch him
He got tired...Later that day had a really high fever, so he was a little sick here...Pretty tulip fields!

I love the color combinations, had to include it. They are just so gorgeous!
Well, I've caught up on all the pics from the last month I think...Do I have more then my sister yet? Probably not haha. I have a few from the zoo trip maybe but we're just doing our normal stuff, working, playing, eating and sleeping. And enjoying 95 % of it every day! Much Love to all....

Tulip Festival and Other Pics...probably the last new ones for a month! :-)

Gavin's favorite, Jumping on the trampoline! Every day he wants to jump, he starts bouncing his legs before we get there... It's fun. I don't mind doing this activity with him at all!
Oops, sideways...with Grandma's hand...can you tell he's a talker? or screamer....
Loves his farm, LOVES his farm...I think I loved it too.
His favorite thing at the park, walking up the slide...safer then stairs? Debatable.
Tulip Festival...like I said earlier, Gavin had just as much fun running in the grass as looking at tulips. Uncle Jeff LOVED chasing him around with me. It was great fun...

Fun weekend

Well, more pictures...Gavin and I were in Birch Bay this weekend. We did some swimming and playing and beachwalking and relaxing. There was the most beautiful sunset ever...my camera did ok at capturing it, and there's my tired and squished face in front of it. That photographer should be fired! :-) (It was me heehee) We went on a little nature walk/hike. It was a blast. I love skunk cabbage. The leaves are HUGE, bigger than Gavin! We also read all the interpretive signs (quickly) and can now tell the differences between Spruce and Fir and Maple and other trees. So as we were walking around with him on my back I was pointing to things and saying their names. Gavin started pointing at things like Mom was. Such a fun game to point at trees! There were some cool flowers and it was a pretty warm relaxing walk. More of that to come this summer! I collect rocks more then shells now. I like the solid white rocks that are smooth, hard to find solid white. We saw some crabs and stuff too. I liked to run around with the soccer ball in a park near the beach. Gavin did not get that he needed to kick the ball. He just liked to chase after it with me and then pick it up. Funny boy! Well, off to planning our next adventure....

More Random Pics

Lets See...some new pics: there are a few of our trip to Spokane, Gavin in his matching bandaid and swim trunks, the mess he made in the hotel room while Mom showered after swimming and Uncle Jeff's reaction to the length of the shower....:-) Um, my foot in my cool new Speedo water shoes and then running in the ocean to the dock with Katelynn during our weekend in Discovery Bay (VERY COLD)...There are a few of Gavin and I at the Seattle aquarium...we found a tank with Nemo and Dori! I can't wait until Gavin wants to watch that movie over and over again- I don't think I brushed my hair that day...oh well. ....Sunshine forcasted for this Sunday-I'll probably be in Birch Bay. I can't wait!!

April Day

Well, lets see....I lost the battery charger for my camera and it took me a while to get a new one. Now I have a new charger but my computer won't read the card! So I'm experiencing some technical difficulties but hope to get my pictures downloaded from a store and printed/uploaded here etc. soon. Maybe even tonight! Here's a picture from a different camera from Saturday. We went to the Tulip festival. Gavin liked walking around...although he was just as happy running in the dirt and grass as the thousands of tulips. Such a boy! So it's not my favorite pic from the weekend but at least it's a change of scenery for my frequent viewers :-) I'll get some better ones posted eventually! All is well with us, I had a super fun girls weekend 2 weeks ago at Discovery Bay and have plans for camping this weekend. Less then a month until we fly to Arkansas and I CAN'T WAIT to go to San Diego and Monterrey in August. Can you tell what I'm all about? Everything but work! Oh well, I work to live and pay for my fun. (not live to work) Much Love!

Pictures...

My friend Katelynn and I before we went out to Dance...
Smiling at Katelynn....waiting to leave - I'm already red faced because we were warming up by dancing around the living room haha.

April Showers?

So, it's April! Yipee! It was snowing yesterday night/morning - no lie - and it's sunny and beautiful and warm today! Surprise Surprise, I haven't been able to load new pics of Gavin for a bit. I don't have any today either but I'll share a story anyway. Gavin and I went to the zoo on Saturday, it was really neat. He likes looking at the animals and chasing other kids around. He's a blast. I'm still working a lot and I am extrememly grateful for an amazing daycare. Gavin gets to play with 6-7 other kids that love him and a dog and a great great great lady named Jill. She actually takes the kids out and about almost every day. He's getting the best of every world in my opinion! I got to go out dancing with some girlfriends on Friday night, I'll attach a picture or two so there's more than just words here...It was really fun to hit the town and let loose! I actually had a few sore muscles on Saturday! Gavin is learning how to color, that's been fun. He threw a pen and a pad of paper up into the rocking chair, climbed up, sat down, settled in with the pen and paper, and tried to draw. When he discovered the pen was 'broken' (had the cap on) he threw it on the floor, climbed down, got a different pen, threw it back in the rocking chair, climbed back up, and started over trying to draw. The pen happened to be dried out or he wasn't pushing very hard but it was still fun to watch him be so focused moving about with great determination. I hope you can see it in your minds eye...pretty cute. Anyway, I've got some great vacation plans in the works...planning on hitting Little Rock, Ark for a weekend or so, another weekend in Spokane, over a week in San Diego in August, a week in Monterrey, a weekend in Port Townsend, a weekend on the Oregon Coast...and as many other weekend trips as I possibly can fit in. I'm also house shopping. I've been outbid once and have just moved too slowly on another...but I'm still looking, I figure when it's meant to be, it'll happen. So, here's some pictures Much Love to all...eventually I'll get some zoo pics downloaded ....

A favorite face

Isn't Gavin hilarious? His blue blue eyes...I didn't mention that while we were in Spokane, he got an owie! We were running towards eachother in a hotel hallway and he fell into the corner of a wall. His head split open and blood was dripping all over. Uncle Jeff did a good job following my orders "Open the door" "Get me kleenex" "Go get Ice" "Make a Bottle" etc. He was up and playing within about 15 minutes. I ran to Safeway and got Butterfly Bandaids and ointment. Just a gash about an inch long...I hope he doesn't scar bad. He looked like quite a boy with a big bandaid on his face for several days. Now it's scabbing and healing. Just love this picture.

Also, if you notice in the background the kitty box...Gavin spent most of his time climbing up onto it, sitting, bouncing, climbing down, taking toys up there, climbing up to play with toys, etc. It was his own private seat. Funny boy!
