GO HAWKS!!!

So I got to go to both home pre-season games - We beat the Bears and the Raiders and I'm totally stoked about this season. Went with Pevey yesterday (Raiders)- was a GREAT time - got autographs from Trufant and Peterson too - SO AWESOME!!!

Visits...

Well, the last few weeks HAVE been BUSY - I started a new job at a new company which I completely love, I worked out of Colville for a few days, I picked up Pevey and he's been visiting for a few weeks, Jessipoo came over twice and hung out... it's just been busy with all that crazy life stuff...
Gavin and I still enjoy the trampoline at Grandma's - Steven and I tipped over the canoe - before we really got out... I think Pevey really tipped it over - he was sitting on the top not on his seat - either way it was refreshing! and Gavin Loves his aunt Jessica a TON!

Stuff we've been doing

I got dressy for bridesmaid life at Katelynn's BEAUTIFUL wedding

Gavin is all about riding bikes - he has one I let him ride in the house - and several for outside - spoiled child!

He's quite a little athlete - not a huge huge climber - but he likes being physical

So Much

So much seems to happen so fast. Gavin says things like "Red Stop, Green Go" and "Yes Way, No Way".. He seems to be getting SO smart. I am impressed all the time at the stuff he remembers. I tell him the grocery list - and he remembers at least a bunch of it. I got to be part of Katelynn's wedding - my dear sweet Katelynn - she is amazing. Katelynn, thank you for being such an amazing friend and for loving me when I'm completely retarded and do stupid things without thinking!

In Tahoe - and every chance we get all the time - we like to swim - Gavin's quite the little fish - sometimes he likes to hitch a ride....

The Bachelorette!

My Dear Dear Friend Katelynn.... is getting married on Saturday!!! We had a bachelorette party for her this past Saturday which included brunch, pictures, ceramics, burritos, cake, music, presents, dancing, and cute matching shirts. This is her sister Bekah (the great organizer!), Katelynn, and myself... "Kate's Bachelorette Party in Progress..."

Family Visits

On the Trip down to Tahoe we got to see the great grandparents in Redding. They are wonderful, positive, encouraging individuals. While at Tahoe we got to spend a few days with Grand Aunt Laurie and Great Grandma Frazier- two of our most favorite most fun and enjoyable individuals.

While at Tahoe we hiked to Algora Lakes. I carried Gavin most of the way in my Aunt's fabulous pack. It was hot. Beautiful - but HOT

Camping in June

When Gavin and I went camping - he learned a little about shadows - he made me laugh so hard I almost fell over! He's chasing my shadow - not me!

We're Back

From a Week Long VACATION! To Lake Tahoe. We were able to see some of Gavin's Great Grandparents, canoe around Lake Tahoe, swim in a warm pool, and RELAX! It was really nice to get away for that long. We drove in a van with 5 adults and a toddler - it was a long drive - both directions! But we made it and had a great time. Here's a picture of Gavin helping me carry water while camping. He's very much into "me do" and "help you, mommy". He was glad to go back to daycare with his nice friends - and glad to see all of his toys. I'll post lots of vacation pictures after I get my camera back from grandma's house!

And Then....

Well, Saturday I ran 3 miles, Sunday I ran 2 miles... The longest I've run in the last month in a single run is 5 miles... I have no goal other than to run everyday. Between 1 and 1.5 miles I have a wall - if I push through it, I can run for a long time at the same steady, happy pace. I usually quit when I get tired of being sweaty or thirsty - or my feet go numb. Sometimes I'm just too tired. Gavin didn't eat much for about 6 days last week - and he didn't sleep much either - so I didn't sleep much. 4 more days of work, then off to family vacation at Lake Tahoe. It will be nice to disconnect and not have anything pressing to do.

Well....

We went camping last weekend - 4 days outside of Leavenworth - it was BEAUTIFUL. Gavin is very sick, hasn't eaten much - got sick camping actually. :( EWW - I'm exhausted. Started running again, Maybe I should post how much I run every day to be accountable to the blog world. hmmm. Well, last night I ran 1.3 miles. I was tired and it was late... so I just went to bed instead of continuing past the warm-up.
